Autumn Fashion and Beauty

Autumn is in full swing right now pleasing our eye with all shades of yellow, orange, and red. I love this time of the year (minus the rain!). The colours make me want to join in nature myself with my fashion choices and to become part of colourful nature.

My staple clothing item this autumn is the faux fur gilet from Boden. Camel colour fits in with the autumn palette, fur makes it soooo warm and cosy, and the fact that it’s gilet reminds me that autumn still has many warm, sunny and beautiful moments to enjoy. It’s versatile, and I am looking forward to wearing it on an oddly warm winter day, and in spring as well. And, with the ongoing pandemic, as I am spending time home or outdoors, it’s the most useful fashion item in my wardrobe after home wear.

With makeup, I also look to mirror autumn colours in autumn months. As a Mary Kay beauty consultant, I enjoy trying new products the company produces, and they don’t disappoint. This year’s choice is the gift set with foil eyeshadow duo in pink and purple, travel size mascara, and a cream blush duo stick. The shimmer of the eyeshadow duo is subtle and looks good on day makeup, but can also be used for a night out. It will come in handy in the holiday season too with its elegant shimmer. The cream blush duo is my absolute favourite. The colours are great (I have pink and glimmer) and as it’s a duo it improves face contouring with the highlight colour as well as being a blush.
