Three Must-Have Skincare Masks
Christmas is just around the corner, twinkling lights are on, Christmas trees are up, and I can’t wait for a break and a magical season. As well as preparing presents and decorations, I like to prepare my skin for the festive season too and to help it to glow. Here are my three must-have skincare masks that take care of cleansing, moisturising, soothing, and nourishing my skin.
Cleansing: Mary Kay Clearproof Charcoal mask. The mask gently cleans the skin, charcoal acts like a magnet to unclog pores. The mask also absorbs excess oil and shine and minimises the pores. It is suitable for all skin types and tones. Honeysuckle and Navy Bean Extract are the ingredients that help to soothe skin and improve its appearance. My skin definitely feels and looks very clean after the mask, and I can see the effect the following morning too. At the same time, the skin feels soothed and moisturised. The mask has won a few awards, including Good Housekeeping Magazine’s “Best Beauty Awards 2019: Detoxifying Face Mask" category.
Soothing and nourishing: Jasmine and Lily Healing Mask by Chantecaille. This is the most soothing mask I have ever tried. It has a very gentle delicious smell, it feels soft and very very soothing on the skin and it leaves the skin feeling hydrated and nourished for long after. The mask is rich in floral extracts and vitamins, it repairs damaged tissue by stimulating cells’ natural healing and production. It reduces redness signs and brightens tired and stressed skin while moisturising and nourishing. It’s good for all skin types and sensitive skin like mine. I can definitely feel the effect of the mask on my skin during the next day. This is a perfect mask to take off stress after busy pre-Christmas time.
Targeted moisturising and nourishing: Mary Kay Hydrogel Eye Patches. These are called eye patches, and I would recommend using them on the skin under the eyes, but also they can be used anywhere on the face for targeted action. I personally use them in the areas around my mouth as well as under my eyes. The patches give an instant refreshing burst of hydration. They also soothe and depuff the eyes. They are perfect in the mornings, but as a busy Mom, I don’t have much time for myself in the mornings. So I use them in the evening and enjoy the soothing effect in the night and moisturising and nourishing effect the following morning. I also love the look of these eye patches. They have such an elegant sparkle and are bound to bring Christmas mood to the self care time. The eye patches have received many awards: Health magazine Beauty Award 2020, The Parents magazine Beauty Awards 2020, and the Good Housekeeping Seal, after evaluation and review by the experts at the Good Housekeeping Research Institute.
