Perfect Lips Care Tips

I know I know we are to wear face masks in all indoor settings in the UK and as such our lips will remain hidden behind the mask. But even more exciting that spring is here and summer is just around the corner and we are going to spend more and more time outdoors. I personally put a bright lipstick on when we go to see duckies with my children and I heard duckies appreciate! Lol.

When we think about skincare we focus on the face, maybe hands, and body but rarely remember about lips. Yet a little care for lips goes a long way. It’s amazing how much prettier a lipstick looks on nourished lips and how much longer it stays and even more importantly how soft and sensual the nourished lips feel!

A little scrab will make sure to get rid of all dry skin and old cells leaving lips ready for nourishing balm. No need to scrub too hard, gentle touch is enough for the gentle lip skin. I love to use the Mary Kay Satin Lips care set. It’s made with Shea butter that leaves a long-lasting sensation of nourishment after using it. Shea butter also promotes circulation and healthy skin cell growth as it has antioxidant vitamins A, E, and F.

For the finishing touch, my favourite lipstick at the moment is Mary Kay Gel Semi-Shine Lipstick. It stays long, feels light, and looks beautiful.

For a more natural look, I use lipgloss. The latest Mary Kay collection of unlimited lip gloss glides on my lips and absolutely non-stick, I even verified it with a face mask! It’s a new patent technology which makes this lip gloss feel so special and new current colours in three finishes for any occasion!

As usual, please contact me at hello@jarofjoyblog.com to request further skincare consultation or purchase Mary Kay products.
